Nixon and ER Souliers de skate are proud to present their latest collaboration: The ER x Nixon Time Teller. Strictly limited to 100 unique pieces, the watch will be exclusively available at a selection of specialty skateboard and premium concept stores in France starting April 2015 and retail at a value of 130 euros.

For the ER x Nixon Time Teller, Riconneaus breaks new ground by placing his signature on one of Nixon’s most iconic watches while paying tribute to the passion for skateboarding he shares with the Californian brand. In many ways alike, the collaboration cater fashion-savvy individuals who seek top-notch quality and an edgy yet sophisticated look that has its heart in the streets.

The ER x Nixon Time Teller features a custom engraved heavy sandblasted stainless steel case holding a 3-hand Japanese quartz movement. The dial displays an exclusive die cut photograph originating from Eugène Riconneaus’ art work series “Young Users 2000”, a collection of clichés taken in front of the Parisian art center Palais de Tokyo over a period of 6 years. Completed in January 2015, “Young Users 2000” represents a personal homage to a place that inspired Riconneaus’ work and career in a special way.

Every detail of the ER x Nixon Time Teller is a thoroughly elaborated component. Minute and hour hands are held in sandblasted stainless steel while the second hand pops out in bright metallic orange. A subtle hint to Parisian decadence, the watch band is made of black pull-up embossed crocodile leather and finishes with a stainless steel butterfly clasp carrying Eugène Riconneaus’ signature. To add a final – undeniably French – touch, every caseback is completed by the nonchalant engraving “Merci, Au Revoir” and individually numbered from 1 to 100 to make each watch a unique piece of its own.
